The Winnipeg Police Service says a fire in the 500 block of Young Street has damaged several residences and affected power lines. Manitoba Hydro has temporarily turned off power in the area while emergency crews deal with the situations. In a tweet, police say residents in the area can expect to be without power for two or three hours. The power outage will also affect traffic lights in the area.
