Stretches of Saskatchewan Avenue and Kennedy Street to temporarily close this weekend

Winnipeg, MB – Two major streets will temporarily close this weekend to accommodate construction work.
Saskatchewan Avenue, from Moray Street to Hamilton Avenue, will be temporarily closed starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 26 until 7 p.m. Sunday, June 27 for roadway construction. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to get to their destination while this temporary road closure is in effect.
Kennedy Street, from St. Mary Avenue to York Avenue, will be temporarily closed on Sunday, June 27 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. to accommodate building construction and maintenance.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes while this temporary road closure is in place; pedestrian access will be maintained.
