The successful candidate will retain a 0.10 FTE (10%) term Smart Start teaching position at Shevchenko School. Shevchenko is a Kindergarten-Grade 12 school with approximately 300 students located in Vita, Manitoba. Smart Start is a program designed to assist Kindergarten students. This term teaching position will run forty half days, from January 13 to March 25, 2022. The ability to build positive relationships with students, effectively manage a classroom environment and develop exceptional rapport with colleagues is essential. Previous experience teaching the Smart Start programming is considered an asset. This position will remain open for applications until it is filled.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience
Salary and Benefits:
The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the collective agreement between Border Land School Division and the Border Land Teachers’ Association of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
