Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

The Clinic:
Steinbach Dental Clinic first opened its doors in 1971. Even though there have been many changes in dentistry since that time, many of our original clients are still active patients to this day. We are committed to optimizing oral health and strive to help our clients reach their oral health goals and achieve a healthy and attractive smile for life.

The Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include but not be not limited to:
• Greet and register patients
• Collect and receipt payments
• Answer and manage incoming calls
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Data entry
• Maintain patient records
• Prepare insurance claims
• Monitor office supplies
• Other duties as required

The Requirements:
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starting, motivated and dependable
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Professional mannerism
• Excellent computer and organizational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Patient confidentiality is essential
• Working knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and insurance is a definite asset

The working hours will vary but this position is required to work every Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.
