Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada


  • Post-secondary education or certificate in the administrative or secretarial field and/or experience providing administrative and secretarial support.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Experience handling confidential and/or sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining filing systems.
  • Written communication skills with the ability to take clear and accurate meeting minutes.
  • Organizational and time management skills including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. 


  • Experience with using electronic document tracking systems.
  • Experience using SAP (or similar programs) for timekeeping and other payroll functions.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to area leadership, coordinate administrative processes and support the effective functioning of the office. Duties of the position include preparing correspondence; planning, scheduling and organizing meetings and events; managing bring-forward and tracking systems; maintaining filing systems and records; and performing various other administrative tasks.
