The Companies Office is the provincial registry for corporations and businesses in Manitoba. The Registry Support Team provides general information to clients on how to register, triage documents and process payments. The Registry Support Team reviews and processes annual returns. The Registry Support Clerk processes Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public applications and renewals.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English and French

Qualifications:
Essential:

  • Experience performing administrative and/or clerical duties in an office environment 
  • Experience analyzing and processing complex documents
  • Ability to interpret, explain and apply legislation, regulations, policies and/or procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Strong verbal communication skills in French
  • Strong written communication skills in French
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle conflicting priorities 
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook) 

Desired:

  • Experience processing payment and handling payment information

Duties:
The Bilingual Registry Support Clerk is responsible to provide general information and customer service to the public over the phone, email, fax and in-person and to process filings received in the office such as Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public applications/renewals, annual returns/renewals, notices, revival/restorations and other filings/events and updates.
