City Driver

Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a City Driver for their Winnipeg, MB location.

 This position is Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Responsibilities
 Pickup and deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner
 Spot trailers
 Monitor temperature controlled loads
 Record daily yard checks
 Dock work
 Handle freight and freight documents
 Adhere to all safety and traffic laws
 Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
 Provide excellent customer service
 Perform all other duties/trips as requested

DUTIES WILL VARY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE OPERATION

Qualifications
 Class 1A license
 EEMV Certificate
 Experience in handling freight
 Experience in operating a forklift
 Propane certification
 Demonstrate customer service abilities and attitudes
 Knowledge of city delivery routes
 Professional appearance and good hygiene
 Safe driving record verified by a current driver’s abstract
 Ability to perform all required duties without restriction
