The Western School Division is looking for a creative person to function as the Communication Technology Teacher at the Senior Years level. The successful candidate will be responsible for a teaching assignment including but not limited to: Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Digital Pictures, Digital Filmmaking, 2D Animation, and 3D Modeling.

The successful candidate must be a qualified teacher, preferably with experience teaching the above-noted subjects. They must be willing and able to work as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have a strong background in the application of computer technology with experience in teaching with programs such as Kodu, Scratch, Java, Maya, Adobe Animate, Adobe Pro, and Photoshop.

They must have: good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, present themselves professionally, and demonstrate their ability to be a team player, functioning as part of a team and working collaboratively with teaching colleagues.

A condition of employment with Western School Division is a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry Check and an agreement by the applicant to disclose criminal record and/or Abuse Registry record information to the Division.
