Phason Inc. is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of technically advanced Electronic Control Systems for the Agricultural Industry. Phason is a Manitoba owned and operated company and has been in business for over 37 years.
We are seeking an individual for a unique opportunity in the area of CSR–Technical Support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide direct post-sales technical support on set-up and installation of electronic controllers
• Analyse, troubleshoot provide resolution to technical issues in the field
• Analyze data required for repair, warranty or customer education
• Work with colleagues when necessary to escalate and resolve customer issues
• Open, document and track and resolve support tickets and add to solution knowledge base
• Some configuration of system hardware, software and network components
• Handle customer issues by providing solutions on a timely basis ensure the customer is satisfied
• Read and comprehend product manuals and diagrams
• Learn about the products inside and out to be able to answer any questions from customers
• Provide feedback to help improve sales, marketing, and business processes
• Train distributors on product set-up
• Exceptional organization, multitasking and time management skills
Education and Experience Required:
• Minimum Vocational/Diploma/ (technology program) or equivalent with 2- working experience in related fields. Must possess a valid Manitoba driver’s license. Travel is required. Fully proficient in English. French would be an asset.
Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:
• Hardware troubleshooting skills
• Basic networking, O/S, and troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to gather relevant information systematically and to solve problems, anticipate needs, develop and propose solutions and gain customer agreement
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Strong, professional communications skills; proficient in oral, written and telephone communication skills
• Fundamental presentation skills
• Previous business customer service experience
• Effective listening skills
• Ability to develop customer relationships
• Sound knowledge of MS Office programs
