Job Type: # OMEX Agriculture Inc. is currently looking for an energetic, organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, team and goal-oriented individual for the position of Customer Service and Logistics Representative to support our office and sales team. This individual must be a confident self-starter with the ability to multi- task and work well under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude. The selected candidate will be based in our head office in Oak Bluff, MB. Note: Transportation will be required as public transportation is not available to Oak Bluff. The Customer Service and Logistics Representative will perform a wide range of duties including but are not limited to following: -Answer general phone calls, direct product information inquiries and reply to general information and product requests with accurate information (by phone and by email),
-Greet clients/suppliers/visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner,
-Prepare customer orders that are received through emails or telephone calls, and enter them into Great Plains Dynamic accounting system.
-Administer paperwork for third party warehouses, and arrange logistics in order to ship product throughout Western Canada and the US.
-Communicate effectively with warehouse staff on inventory requirements.
-Work closely with our customers to address any inquiries and concerns regarding product availability and shipments.
-Create, print and maintain product labels within Bartender Software.
-Ensure that necessary products and inventory is produced for sales objectives, and that the products are properly assigned and moved to the appropriate warehouses for consumer sale.
-Ensure adequate inventory availability to fulfill orders received, which includes assess levels, and arranging transport to fill third party warehousing as required.
-Process monthly inventory counts for external warehouses Office Administration and Support:
-Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos and documents
-Sort incoming mail and courier deliveries for distribution; prepare and send outgoing mail and courier parcels.
-Forward incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member as required
-File documents according to the established process
-Provide administrative support to management and other staff
-Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment as requested
-Data entry as required.
-Book travel arrangements for other staff as required. Qualifications/Eduction:
-College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experience is an asset. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
-Experience using Great Plains Dynamic and Bartender Label software is considered an asset but not required.
-Experience in a Customer Service and/or Logistics/Order Desk role.
-Knowledge using Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
-Basic accounting knowledge an asset.
-Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment OMEX offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits program.
