What you’ll do:
You will be an industry leading, technical feed, animal supplies, and farm hardware expert who strengthens the CRS’s business growth within a diverse Ag portfolio including Packaged Feed, Livestock and Animal Health, and Farm Hardware product lines. You are integral in continuing to drive industry perception of the CRS as a Trusted Advisor, backed by a team of product knowledge experts who understand Local Co-op business needs as well as those of the farm customers

You will be responsible for product line expertise and sustainable growth in Packaged Feed, Livestock and Animal Health, and Farm Hardware product lines. Also understand, anticipate, and investigate new technologies, products, and trends. You will provide recommendations on internal direction based on product and technology expertise.
You will be the technical/subject matter expert for marketing material utilizing existing marketing programs; provide guidance on topic relevancy and timing; contribute to writing content; proactively identify ways to tell our story (of feed Team; of the CRS value proposition) to the farm customer.
You will identify Feed Team training needs and then work collaboratively with the Account Management team to develop and deliver training through a variety of mechanisms, such as hands-on, classroom, written, or virtual material. Lead the organization and delivery of larger training events such as Livestock and Farm Hardware Meetings.
You will work with Grow Team and Equip Team Advisors, and stakeholders from HABS, Energy, and the Key Account Managers to ensure alignment of products, services, and messaging to farm customers.

Our Agro team helps to feed and grow Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing products and services to local Co-ops in the feed, crop supplies and fertilizer business.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

You have a Commerce or Agriculture Degree, preference in Animal Science.
You have a minimum of 6-9 years of progressively responsible sale experience in the agriculture and/or animal health industry is required (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others
