Inside Sales Reps – Seasonal

We currently have an opportunity in our Sales team for Seasonal Inside Sales Reps in our Winnipeg office.

This position is a seasonal role from approximately mid-March to September/October with the opportunity to be recalled each spring. Hours will be full-time with overtime during peak business months. Hours will vary with business demand and may range from a 7am or 8am start to a 4pm or 5pm finish time. Overtime is frequent during peak selling months. This role works Monday to Friday and will be on a Saturday morning rotation during the summer months to accommodate customer pickups.

In this role you would assist the Sales team with:
•Customer inquiries and communicating with our dealers and contractors
•Participating with customer events
•Assisting the sales team with customer relations
•Enter purchase orders, confirming order dates, taking phone orders and entering phone and fax orders into computer system
•Providing customer service and assistance with choosing product, delivery arrangements, and payment
•Estimating materials from drawings and entering orders into computer system
•Business administration tasks as required by the Sales and Office team

To qualify for this role you will have:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment where teamwork is essential
•Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions such as answering emails, phone calls and in person inquires while completing daily order entry requirements
•Good computer and keyboarding skills including experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and data entry
•High attention to detail and organization for accurate order entry and tracking
•Mathematical abilities (basic algebra and geometry)
•The capability of occasionally performing heavy physical exertion tasks such as transferring product for displays or assisting “walk-in” customers

To be successful in this role you will have:
•Education and/or experience in sales, customer service or business administration
•Mathematical abilities (basic algebra and geometry)
•Strong organizational skills with maintaining documentation, setting priorities and timelines
•Knowledge of pre-cast concrete landscaping products is considered an asset
