You are
A Parking Permit Support Clerk. You will perform customer service, and permit-related tasks, consistent with the needs of clients, and in compliance with governing legislation.

Your Role

• Providing quality customer service to Permit applicants.
• Processing batches of permit applications with detailed accuracy.
• Preparing daily cash balances.
• Sending letters to estate of deceased clients to retrieve permits.
• Counting and documenting incoming mail to be opened.
• Counting, documenting and posting outgoing mail.
• Opening and closing of department as required.
• Back-up to Parking Permit Program Assistant and support to Program Manager.
• Answering phones and handling inquiries as required.

What You Know
• High school diploma.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with computers, including customized databases.
• Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving and telephone skills.
• Experience dealing directly with the public.
