Prairie Spirit School Division is accepting applications for a teaching Principal at Boyne Valley Colony School, (Holland, MB) to commence September 7th, 2021. Boyne Valley Colony School is a grade K-12 school with a current enrolment of 39 students. This position is comprised of 0.18 administration and 0.82 teaching time. Subjects: K-8 to be determined / High School supervision. Deadline for applications is noon on May 19, 2021 or as soon as a suitable candidate pool is established. Qualifications for all administration positions
(a) Manitoba School Administrator’s Certificate, or equivalent.
(b) A variety of successful teaching experience of at least five years and school based administrative experience(s).
(c) Masters degree or other evidence of lifelong learning
(d) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
In general, the roles of the principal can be divided into four areas of responsibility.
The principal as a visionary
The principal as a Leader/Program Facilitator
The Principal as a Manager
The Principal as a Community Facilitator
