Churchill Wild, creator of the world’s next great safari™, offers up-close and personal wildlife encounters at our fly-in lodges near Churchill Manitoba. From our offices in Ile des Chenes, MB; the Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for the sales and marketing teams to facilitate marketing and selling our product to the world.
The Sales & Marketing Manager is Responsible for:
Development of Sales & Marketing plan, designed to increase qualified leads to drive sales;
Management of Sales and Marketing Teams;
Maintain strong customer relations with existing Travel Trade Vendors, and cultivate new ones;
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends;
Supply management with reports on sales, marketing, customer feedback, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services;
Prepare reports and documents for year end wrap up and planning meetings
Using Customer feedback, ensure that customers needs continue to be met;
Coordinate & attend industry travel trade shows, and international Sales Missions with industry partners;
Keep current on internal standards, methods and direction of company growth;
Travel will be required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Ability to learn new programs, including CRM systems;
Experience in the Tourism Industry;
Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in both sales and marketing;
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills;
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills;
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs, whether customers or travel trade & industry partners;
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Marketing & Sales Program;
On the job training and experience in Sales and Marketing, minimum combination of 5 years, preferably related to the Tourism Industry;
Salary $65,000 annually, group health benefits.
