Westpark School is looking for an amazing teacher to join our

Westpark School is a pre-kindergarten to grade 12 school with a student population of approximately 250 students. We are a funded, independent school which means we teach the Manitoba curriculum, employ Manitoba certified teachers and comply with the standards of Manitoba Education.

Westpark School desires to see students graduate from high school with not only an excellent education which prepares them for their next steps in career or educational opportunities, but to increase student awareness of the faith journey they are on and to foster in them a greater understanding of their spiritual life and who they are in relation to God. To this end, Westpark School desires to cultivate hearts as well as minds, build vocational clarity, nurture spiritual well-being, and inspire engagement in society and the world at large.

Portage la Prairie is a vibrant, small city situated in the heart of Manitoba. Located 45 minutes from the outskirts of Winnipeg and one hour to Brandon, there is much to do for recreational and cultural pursuits.

Responsibilities include providing instruction for teaching general courses primarily in grades 4-8. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) from a recognized post secondary institution and be (or able to become) certified as a teacher by Manitoba Education.
