Position Summary:
The position of Tenant Relations Coordinator includes the following responsibilities: to facilitate a positive relationship between management and tenant, and among tenants, to maintain appropriate documentation and records regarding each of the tenants. These responsibilities are managed in accordance with the guidelines established by the Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation.

Qualifications:
• Education/Certification:
o Post-secondary education in Human Services, other related disciplines, and/or equivalent experience required
• Experience:
o Previous landlord experience is an asset
o Experience in mental health preferred
• Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
o Knowledge of Manitoba Residential Tenancy Act and Guidelines an asset
o Knowledge of mental illnesses/mental health issues and recovery
o High functioning Microsoft Office competencies (Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel)
o Ability to communicate within a computerized environment (heavy usage of computer & cell phone)
o Excellent time management, organizational and decision-making skills
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (with the Vulnerable Sector Check)
• Satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check
• Satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Vehicle Registration, indicating 3rd Party Liability Insurance of $1,000,000 or more
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Status and/or agreement to undergo regular testing in accordance with Public Health orders
