Territory Sales Manager

Rosenort Co-operative Limited is seeking a full time Territory Sales Manager to join its team and oversee its bulk petroleum business. This role is a combination driving/sales position.

Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time position includes the following responsibilities:
• Combination of outside and inside sales; promoting overall sales growth and expanding our existing customer base
• Deliver fuel within our local trading area, no overnight travel required
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Inform General Manager of any equipment maintenance or repair items immediately
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers as well as suppliers
• Product pricing as well as developing marketing materials
• Utilize multiple forms of advertisement including print, social media, and the company’s website
• Maintain accurate driver logs
• Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of a fire, accident, or spill
• Assist in organizing promotional and customer appreciation events
• Monitor customer inventory levels and schedule deliveries accordingly
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• Extended hours during the seeding and harvest seasons including some weekends

Qualifications & Experience
• Valid Class 1 license with air brake endorsement
• Minimum three (3) years of commercial driving experience
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and demonstrates strong problem solving abilities
• Prior petroleum experience is considered an asset
• Background in agriculture is preferred
• Prior sales experience is preferred
• Proper PPE and paid training will be provided to the successful applicant
• As a prerequisite from our insurance provider, the successful applicant must be between 25 and 65 years of age
