WELDERS (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

Are you looking to work with a Winnipeg-based manufacturer located in the south end area of Winnipeg? In this role, you will be responsible for operating welding machines and working with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to CWB welding procedures. If you want to work in an organized and clean shop environment, then this is the opportunity for you! 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Weld using various materials and techniques (MIG, JIG, and fitting)
* Read and interpret welding blueprints and process sheets to carry out job functions accurately and efficiently
* Work efficiently in a team environment to ensure performance and product quality targets are met
* Complete other duties as required

MUST HAVES:
* Previous welding experience; ability to weld in multiple positions
* Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
* Thorough knowledge of welding procedures and practices
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and ability to stand or crouch for long periods
* CWB tickets preferred

ADDITIONAL INFO:
* $20.00 – $26.00 per hour (depending on experience)
* Day shift, 8 am – 4:30 pm
