Coronavirus: Manitoba to delay administering second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Dr. Joss Reimer, head of Manitoba’s vaccine implementation task force, announced on Wednesday the decision to delay the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to recipients to allow for more Manitobans to be immunized faster. The decision comes after real-world data from vaccine distribution showed a significant level of protection achieved after only one dose of the vaccine.
