Crash involving pedestrian forces Tuesday morning road closure in Winnipeg

A crash involving a pedestrian has forced road closures in Winnipeg on Tuesday morning.

According to a tweet by the Winnipeg Police Service, a pedestrian was hit by a car around 6:30 a.m. at Lagimodiere and Maginot Street.

Police officers are on scene and traffic is closed at southbound Lagimodiere from Marion Street. Officers note the closure will last for “many hours.”
