Pub nights in a pandemic are anything but normal

The Toad in the Hole, in its new digs at 155 Osborne St., is remarkably subdued for a Friday night.

At 8:49 p.m., there are 22 people — plus staff — at the bar. This is not what the Toad would look like on a normal Friday night, but 2020 has been anything but normal. The pandemic obliterated any sense of normalcy a long time ago.
